About this Position

RepSpark, a rapidly growing SAAS B2B ecommerce software company based in Southern California, is hiring a full-time Public Relations and Social Media Manager to join the expanding Marketing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in promoting our SAAS B2B e-commerce platform for current and future customers, collaborating with stakeholders, clients, partners, and media outlets. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology, enabling intelligent selling in the apparel, footwear, and accessories industries. The selected individual will focus on creating, managing, and engaging with social channels, staying updated on industry trends, collaborating on SEO-optimized content with digital specialists, and building press relationships in the B2B technology and retail space. The ideal candidate possesses strategic thinking, strong communication skills, a B2B social media understanding, and a passion for advancing innovative software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management 
    • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored for a B2B retail audience on multiple platforms
    • Create, curate, and manage content that showcases our software solutions and addresses the needs and challenges of RepSpark’s customers.
    • Monitor social media channels for industry-specific trends, competitor activities, and relevant conversations within the retail and tech landscape.
  • Content Creation and SEO Optimization 
    • Collaborate with RepSpark’s digital specialists to create content that aligns with SEO strategies, showcasing the value of our software products in the market.
    • Ensure all content speaks directly to the pain points and interests of RepSpark’s clients.
    • Stay informed about evolving SEO trends in the B2B technology sector.
  • Press Relations 
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists, industry analysts, and thought leaders within the B2B software, retail and technology sector.
    • Draft and distribute press releases, whitepapers, and other communications materials with a focus on B2B software innovations.
    • Respond promptly to media inquiries and coordinate interviews and press events specific to RepSpark initiatives 
  • Analytics and Reporting
    • Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and PR efforts within the B2B and retail space.
    • Provide regular reports on key performance metrics and adjust strategies to align with B2B software market dynamics.
  • Brand Advocacy in B2B Communities:
    • Identify and nurture brand advocates within the B2B retail and tech community.
    • Encourage and facilitate user-generated content that resonates with our B2B audience.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in social media management and public relations, preferably within the B2B software, retail, and/or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization for B2B audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools relevant to B2B marketing.
  • Creative mindset with a keen understanding of B2B buyer personas.
