RepSpark Is Now SOC 2 Type 2 Compliant, Here’s What That Means

Trust is at the foundation of everything we’re building at RepSpark.
From powering custom orders and seasonal assortments to connecting reps and retailers, brands of all shapes and sizes depend on us to help run their wholesale operations safely and reliably.
Today, we’re excited to share a milestone that reinforces that commitment:
RepSpark has officially achieved SOC 2 Type 2 compliance with an unqualified opinion from Prescient Assurance LLC. In simpler terms, it means we passed with flying colors.
You can explore the full details on our Trust & Security Center.
But below, we’ll break down what this milestone actually means for you, your team, and your wholesale business.
What SOC 2 Type 2 Actually Means
SOC 2 is one of the highest security standards in the software industry.
It was developed by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) to evaluate whether a company has designed and implemented the right controls to protect customer data.
There are two levels:
SOC 2 Type 1: A snapshot: “Are your controls designed correctly today?”
SOC 2 Type 2: A full examination: “Do your controls operate effectively over time?”
RepSpark completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination that reviewed the design and operating effectiveness of our security controls over a defined audit period. This inaugural Type 2 examination, covering the period from May 6, 2025, through August 6, 2025, establishes the baseline for our ongoing annual compliance program.
The result? An unqualified opinion. That’s the auditor equivalent of “this meets every requirement.”

Why This Matters for RepSpark Customers
Whether you’re a growing apparel label or a global footwear brand, security plays a huge role in how you evaluate your technology partners. SOC 2 Type 2 compliance helps your team:
Speed Through Procurement
Your IT and compliance teams now have verified third-party documentation showing that RepSpark meets a rigorous industry standard.
Less back-and-forth. Faster vendor approvals.
Reduce Operational Risk
Security is about protecting your brand, your retailers, and your reputation.
SOC 2 Type 2 validates that the controls we rely on to keep your data safe weren’t just implemented; they actually worked as intended throughout the audit period.
Gain Confidence in Your Wholesale Platform
When your entire wholesale operation (products, pricing, orders, inventory, retailer data) lives in one place, you need to know it’s handled responsibly. This level of compliance reinforces that commitment.
What Improved at RepSpark as Part of This Milestone
SOC 2 Type 2 isn’t just “we did the audit.”
It reflects ongoing investment in how we design, build, and operate RepSpark.
Here are fundamental changes and improvements made as part of our security program:
Strengthened Operational Controls
We enhanced internal processes for access management, monitoring, and operational oversight to align with the standard and ensure consistent operation.
Expanded Internal Documentation & Training
Behind the scenes, we implemented stronger internal documentation, clearer ownership of control processes, and updated training to ensure everyone across the company understands their role in protecting customer data.
Improved Vendor Oversight & Subservice Monitoring
We formalized our approach to reviewing and validating the vendors we rely on to operate RepSpark, which directly supports your risk-management expectations.
Enhanced System Logging & Review Processes
We improved the visibility and consistency of system logging and alerting, helping ensure that our internal teams can respond quickly and effectively when needed.
Strengthened Governance & Review Cadence
Key security processes now run on more regular, more rigorous internal cycles, ensuring controls remain effective beyond the audit period.
What’s Next for RepSpark’s Trust Program
Security is ongoing, and SOC 2 Type 2 is now part of our long-term commitment to protecting brands and their data.
We’ll continue to evolve our program in line with industry standards and customer needs, especially as we grow and expand the RepSpark Flow experience.
Future enhancements may include deeper security features within the platform, expanded partner oversight, and continued refinement of our internal control environment.
