About this position

RepSpark is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our sales team. The primary responsibility of the BDR is to generate new sales opportunities by scheduling meetings with qualified organizations in our target verticals through cold-calling, emailing, and other outreach efforts. This role is critical to driving revenue growth by engaging with potential clients, qualifying leads, and building relationships with key decision-makers.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in Durham, NC.

Job Requirements

  • Conducting outbound prospecting activities via phone, email, and social media to generate new sales opportunities for Account Executives.
  • Engaging with potential clients to understand their business needs, pain points, and buying behaviors.
  • Qualifying leads by assessing their fit with our target market, identifying key decision-makers, and understanding their level of interest and buying timeline.
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers by providing them with valuable insights and thought leadership on industry trends, challenges, and solutions.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute on targeted outreach campaigns, messaging, and sales strategies.
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Sales or BDR role, preferably in a SaaS or B2B environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with potential clients at all levels of an organization.
  • A proven track record of success in prospecting and lead generation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with sales automation tools, specifically HubSpot.
  • Wholesale experience in apparel or footwear is a plus.
